Food Science Association (FSA)

The FSA organizes activities for Food Science students such as the annual BBQ and the very successful sugar shack trip.

The FSA is geared towards helping Food Science students by focusing on staff/student activities, industrial visits and participating in Supplier’s Night, an annual event sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST).

As a Food Science student, one is automatically part of FSA.

A Message From the President


	I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone for making FSA as great as it was this year. Your ongoing help and great involvement was truly appreciated. The activities, fundraising, and events that were held could not have happened without you. The new FSA website was such a great hit as it generated about 10000 visits this year by people all around the world! Most importantly, I am very proud that we were able to make a valuable contribution to our current and future Food Science students through the purchase of a Homogenizer and Microwave Oven for the Product Development course! I hope that you all had an awesome year too and wish you great success academically. Best of luck in all your endeavours!!! Amanda
